Our
congratulations go to New York—the first state to
reach 1,000 signatures on the Whole Child
Petition!
Later this fall, New York State ASCD will hand
deliver one copy of the petition for each
signature to the state’s Board of Regents and
the commissioner of education. Will your state
be next? Sign the petition to ask
your state board of education to support
policies and practices that ensure each student
is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and
challenged.
